honest truths about Alzheimer’s Disease
Posted: September 30, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's Disease, DIAN, Dr. John Morris, OASIS Leave a commentThe world is blessed to have Dr. John Morris alive & well at Washington University in St. Louis, MO! Listening to him speak on behalf of Missouri Cures Education Foundation, OASIS, & the Alzheimer’s Association, generated all types of positive, learning emotions, including curiosity, frustration (regarding low Alzheimer’s Disease research funding), joy (learning how low my & my family’s risk is), determination, satisfaction (knowing worldwide Alzheimer’s research hub/DIAN is headquartered in St. Louis)…to name a few… What an exceptional speaker/doctor, who took the time after his presentation, to sincerely & simply answer questions from the audience! Surely everybody got the feeling they can trust John Morris & help to move his Alzheimer’s Disease/DIAN research forward!
Support Grows at Laclede Groves
Posted: July 8, 2014 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: Alzheimer's Disease, Laclede Groves Leave a commentLaclede Groves was another Missouri reminder of how to retire with grace & dignity, especially exhibited by those loved ones involved with Alzheimer’s Disease. Just as I was 25 years ago, when I was first learning about my grandmother’s AD diagnosis, this audience hung on every word. Compassion & honesty was expected & freely given. Sharing recent Alzheimer’s research/progress renewed that hopeful excitement in each attendee. Many thanks to Katie Z!
