Thankfully, Hannibal is, & will always be, Hannibal:-)

Just as the people of Hannibal inspired Mark Twain’s characters, I found the members of Hannibal’s Evening Kiwanis Club to also be inspirational! Unlike many clubs that recruit new members from ‘young-uns’, Hannibal’s Evening Kiwanis welcomed their newest member, at age 82!

I suppose my enjoyment of Hannibal & its history is also influenced by another Margaret, who came from Hannibal, Margaret Tobin, the “Unsinkable” Molly Brown. Why was I not surprised to learn of another famous son of Hannibal, William Lear, the designer of the Lear jet!

Great people, great things continue to happen in Hannibal!
